Pavelcová, K., The attractiveness of the logging sector in forestry. Master thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. This thesis analyses the logging sector of the forestry industry. The aim is to determine its attractiveness and to recommend a strategy to existing firms in the sector and firms that are just entering the sector. The analytical tools used to achieve this objective are PESTLE analysis, Porter's five forces model, EFE matrix, GE matrix and SPACE matrix. Recommendations are made in response to the identified opportunities and threats of the sector, taking into account the attractiveness of the sector. PESTLE analysis and Porter's Five Forces Model are used to analyse the sector and identify opportunities and threats. The evaluation of the EFE matrix, GE matrix and SPACE matrix provides information on the degree of attractiveness of the sector and the appropriate form of strategy for the business.

Žuchová, S. Strategic management of translation and interpretation agency. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. Thesis deals with strategic management of translation and interpretation agency. The main objective of this thesis is to identify the competitive position of the company, which makes possible to design appropriate business strategy. PESTE analysis and Porter´s five forces analysis are used to analyse the external environment. Analysis of the internal environment is done by using the 7Ps marketing mix and financial analysis. The financial indicators are compared with major competitors. Results of analyses are used for formulating strategies using the SPACE matrix and the SWOT matrix. At the end of the thesis the strategy of utilization of subsidies for company development is chosen together with recommendations for its implementation.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to formulate recommendations, that will lead to the development of a company operating in the engineering sector. The proposed strategies will be based on internal and external environmental analyzes. Macro environment are analyzed by PEST analysis. To analyze the micro environment is used Porter's five forces analysis. The internal environment is evaluated through financial analysis, Porter’s value chain and resource audit. An auxiliary tools for strategy formulation are the internal-external matrix (IE) and SPACE matrix. Specific strategic recommendations are designed by SWOT matrix. At the end of the thesis, the strategies are generalized for other companies operating in the engineering sector.

The diploma thesis is focused on the issues of the social entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic. Most importantly this work aims to propose the possibilities of sustainability of social enterprises operating in the region of Vysocina. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts based on the legislative framework of the Czech Republic, the issue of employing people with health disability and the subsidy policy. The empirical part offers the strategic and the financial analysis and suggests the concept of sustainable social enterprise for emerging social enterprises in the Vysocina region, using the examples of good practice from both abroad and the Czech Republic.

This thesis is focuses on the strategic management of the distributor of paints. The main objective of this work is idetify the companys competitive position selected with the help of SPACE matrix, based on will be sesigned potential strategic alternatives. For analyze the external environment is used PESTE. Internal environment has been mapped using the extended marketing mix financial analysis, which is complemented by comparison with main competitors in the industry. Based on the results of analyzes possible strategies are formulated using generic strategies, SPACE matrix and SWOT matrix. At the conclusion are chosen strategy suitable for implementation - the promotion in specialized magazines, the use of external traffic, creating reference sheet.

This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of the current situation and proposal of appropriate strategy for the music Klub Kostka. The thesis is divided to theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part, which is based on relevant literature, submits findings, which are used for execution of the practical part. The practical part includes strategic analysis of external and internal environment, which has been made by chosen methods. The goal of these methods is to determine the opportunities, threats and strengths and weaknesses of the company. Actual market position of the music club was evaluated by IE matrix and SPACE matrix. Afterward, SWOT matrix, from which some suggestions of possible strategies are made, was created. The result of all analysis is the proposal of appropriate strategy, whose aim is increase of profit and assurance of longterm corporate competitiveness.
